NFL (Super) Wild Card - Monday Betting Preview

Guts. Glory. RAMS

Well hopefully you all followed my advice on Live betting Baker Mayfield rushing yards last night because there was a PERFECT opportunity right before the two-minute warning in the first half and he almost immediately ripped an 18-yard scramble.

But hopefully you weren’t like me and doubled down later in the game and literally lost it all. For the millionth time this season, my read was right, but the results don’t necessarily show it because I have the discipline of a Beagle.

Sigh. Full results and recap coming later in the week. Hopefully Sam Darnold stays a pumpkin and the Rams take it home tonight. I’m on one side and one side only…

I’m not going to bore you by repeating myself - see my prior posts for the full detail of the game - but in short, I think tonight is all Rams - mostly because I’m fully ready to fade Sam Darnold. Nice guy, but this is his first playoff start and he absolutely crumbled last week when it mattered.

Now, it matters even more and he’s going against a borderline genius coach with two weeks to prepare and a veteran QB.

I know I’ve been hilariously wrong about this point in other games this week (cough cough, Baker), but who do you trust more with the ball more in the fourth quarter? It has to be Stafford every time.

I honestly think this is another implosion game for Darnold, but even if it’s not, I trust Stafford and McVay to pull out a close game in the fourth. Of course there’s always the possibility the Rams lay an egg, which has happened many times this season. If that’s the case, I tip my cap and we’re onto the Divisional Round.

I didn’t end up taking the Jordan Love interception ladder (which cashed IN FULL), but I think there’s another opportunity here.

Mizo also loves Kyren Williams. I’ve spent enough this week so I’m not on him, but give me Kyren, give me Puka, and give me some ghosts for Sam Darnold. Look out, here comes an implosion.

No excuses, play like a champion.
